Mary River Rockhole Cruise

Glide down the Mary River and experience a pristine natural environment. The river is known for its abundance of fresh & saltwater crocodiles as well as local and migratory birdlife.   It’s a nature lovers delight.

Departing from the Wildman Wilderness Lodge your guide will transport you out to the Rockhole, where you will board the Mary River Princess for a 1.5 hour journey along the Mary River.

The Mary River is a broad, far stretching river system offering expansive views and an abundance of wildlife. It is one of the eight rivers in the Top End which has large floodplains in its catchment. Try to imagine this river tripling in size during the wet season and venture into sheltered billabongs where you can sit in silence and observe nature at its best.

Head out into the centre of the Mary River in search of fresh and saltwater crocodiles. Spot jabiru, brolga, whistling ducks, magpie geese and more. Glide through the lilies stopping occasionally for an epic photo as a crocodile launches from the bank into the water.

With limited operators in this location, you will enjoy uninterrupted views.
