Wildman 4WD Track/Rockhole

Combine a 4WD tour on the Wildman Track with the Mary River Rockhole cruise. This tour is recommended in the afternoon to take advantage of sunset.

Guests will experience a variety of sights and landscapes including open woodland, paper bark forests, pandanas swamps, large banyan figs and the Mary River. Prolific birdlife including sea eagle nesting sites, brolga and magpie geese, plus crocodiles and buffalo may be seen.

Leichhardt Point Sundowners

Depart the Lodge one hour before sunset and drive through forests and along the edge of the Connellan Billabong to Leichhardt Point where we stop for refreshments as we watch the sun go down over the wetlands. Leichhart Point is where the wetlands rise and recede with the seasons. Depending on the time of the year, the water table may be high or dry. A vast seasonal variety of flora and fauna results.

Wildman 4WD Quad Bike Tour

Depart the Lodge and follow the fringe of the Connellan Billabong around to Leichhardt Point. Return to the Lodge via a loop track through the widely varied forest on dirt tracks and unmade terrain. This is a great way to see the landscape up close. The guide sets a safe travel speed. Be prepared to return covered in dust or mud!

Day Tour Kakadu

Depart the Lodge at approximately 8.00am and travel to Kakadu via the Old Jim Jim Road. Stop for morning tea before continuing across floodplains and billabongs. Stop for a sumptuous picnic lunch at Anbangbang Billabong. After lunch we travel down the Kakadu Highway before turning off the road again to Ubirr. Encounter the oldest living culture on earth through ancient rock art and see amazing views of the Arnhemland escarpment.

This tour is subject to change caused by weather conditions and accessibility within the National Park.
