Darwin listed in lonely Planet's Top 10 cities for 2012

Lonely Planet has named Darwin one of the top ten cities to visit in 2012 in its annual Best in Travel publication.

As the gateway to the Mary River Wetlands region and Wildman Wilderness Lodge, we agree wholeheartedly. It is a vibrant city that has a great choice of bars, restaurants, markets, shops and galleries. Described as having “world class wilderness areas just down the road”, we think Darwin is the perfect starting point for a tour of the Northern Territory's Top End. Let us know your thoughts.
